Rafael Nadal Undergoes Foot Treatment Ahead Of Wimbledon

Rafael Nadal is recovering at home after he underwent treatment on his injured left foot on Tuesday, as the French Open champion battles to be fit for Wimbledon. Nadal has returned to his house in Mallorca, less than three weeks before the start of Wimbledon on June 27. French Open 2022: Rafael Nadal on the back foot as injury clouds Roland Garros prospects

A chronic foot issue may be the biggest threat to Rafa Nadal’s bid for a record-extending 14th French Open trophy this month, with the injury preventing the Spaniard from rediscovering the kind of form he will need to see off a host of challenges. But when I beat Ashleigh Barty in Rome, there were not 15,000 people. She wasn’t No. 1. “The level we played was exceptional… [Winning] 7-6 against Ash Barty in front of such a crowd, it’s one of the biggest moments of my career.” Calling her performance “unbelievable,” Mladenovic said, “I’m giving it to the people behind the scenes, the team and the girls who were supporting from first to the final point.” Thiem, who is playing this week’s ATP Finals in…
