Barcelona’s resident Lionel Messi broke numerous records during his excellent performance against Sevilla in the past weekend. Messi scored his 50th career hat trick in the match where Barcelona beat Sevilla by 4-2 on Saturday. Messi netted three goals and assisted the fourth one as the Catalans twice came from the back side to maintain their lead at the top of La Liga. By scoring the 50th Hat trick, Messi already reaches one record of his arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo and also closing down on his two other milestones.
Messi is however still behind Ronaldo in the list of La Liga hat tricks. Ronald is leading in that case as he has made three or more goals in a match on 34 instances whereas Argentina player Messi at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium performed 32 hat tricks in La Liga.
So, the Argentina captain has atotal of 50 hat tricks – 32 hat tricks in La Liga, eight in the UEFA Champions League, one in Spanish Super Cup and three in the Copa del Rey and six for Argentina.

Biography of Messi:
Messi was born on 24th June, 1987 in Rosario of Argentina in a working-class family. His father was a steel factory worker and his mother was working as a cleaner. He started playing at an early age and his talent was soon famous among the country.
Messi was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency (GHD) as a child at the age of 11. This was a condition that astonished growth and requires costly medical treatment including the use of the drug Human Growth Hormone. The local Club “River Plate” was interested in signing Messi but did not want to pay for his medical treatment. At the age of 13, he then relocated to Spain to join Barcelona, given a trial to Barcelona and coach CarlesRexach was impressed and offered Messi a contract which included paying for Messi’s treatment in Spain.
