The Netherlands midfielder Jackie Groenen has left Manchester United to hitch Paris Saint-Germain on a three-year contract. Groenen signed for United in 2019 from FFC Frankfurt and had one yr left on her deal.
“I’ve had such a good time representing this glorious soccer membership,” Groenen informed United’s website. “I’d prefer to thank the Manchester United workers, gamers and followers for believing in me.”
The 27-year-old, who has 92 caps, described the transfer as “an enormous step for my profession”. PSG, not like United, are within the Champions League; they play the Swedish membership Häcken on 21 September within the first leg of a tie that may decide whether or not they attain the group stage.
“I got here right here to win,” Groenen informed PSG’s website. “So I hope to win plenty of trophies this season and I’m very enthusiastic about taking part in within the Champions League.”
